While the days are getting shorter, darker and chillier, here in Melbourne, I can't help but day dream of the summer season long past. I have always been a bit of a summer lover. And what is not more iconic of summer than a delightful day at the beach, when the water is warm, and the breeze is calm. Ahhhhh, I miss summer! So in celebration of summer I have created some Amigurumi toys - all dressed up in their bathers, floaties, and swimming caps, ready for a great fun day at the beach.
The first in this series is the turtle. Beach turtle.

Amigurumi Beach Turtle is worked bottom up with legs and arms joined as you go. The only sewing is to attach the turtle back. Floaties and bathing cap are removable.
